1.3. Project Scope Summary
The UBA project encompasses the development of several key components:
Beneficiary Progressive Web App (PWA):
A mobile-first application for beneficiaries to manage their profiles, discover schemes, apply for benefits, and track application status.
Blue Dot Profile Creation:
A digital profile that is automatically built for the beneficiary based on the VCs imported into the app.
Digital VC Wallet:
A wallet developed and embedded within the Beneficiary App that has the ability to securely store Verifiable Credentials (VCs).
Provider Benefit Schemes Catalog Manager:
A web-based application for Providers to create, manage, and publish their benefit schemes to the UBI Network Network.
Provider Frontend Application: A web-based dashboard for Providers to review, process, and manage incoming beneficiary applications.
Eligibility SDK:
A plug-in that can be used by any beneficiary application to perform eligibility checks based on a user's profile, reducing time and cost by showing the user only the schemes they qualify for.
A middleware service that can be integrated into provider backend systems to perform real-time eligibility assessments based on configurable benefit schemas.
Verification SDK:
A backend utility that can be used by beneficiary applications to validate submitted verifiable credentials (VCs) as per defined verification processes before importing or processing them further.
A service integrated into provider backend systems to handle document verification behind the scenes, without offering any direct user-facing flows or interfaces.
The project scope also includes the full integration with the UBI Network and a third-party Verification Service, as well as the implementation of a secure, scalable backend and database infrastructure.
